Terrene Cake Eaters

Welcome to RegularRacer -- I'm Isaac. And I'm a Regular Racer. What does that mean?
Well, I'm not that fast, I'm not that competitive, and I've got a couple of kids, so I have to work my training (such as it is) around family time (and the family budget!) I like to race because I like the atmosphere of racing mountain bikes -- hanging out with friends, doing some camping, having a beer or two.
I'm going to be posting stories about the races I've done, how I'm training for upcoming events, and the equipment I use. If you're a regular racer like me, send me your stories and I'll try to publish some of those, too.

The Miesville 56 is a free gravel ride through beautiful farm country, past Chimney Rock (stop and kiss it to win prizes!), and down into the Cannon River Valley (and then back up out of it, of course), finishing with burgers at King’s Place. It’s not a race, though any time you put two or more cyclists together, things have a tendency to get competitive.
The Giant Yukon is Giant’s new-for-2019 27.5-inch fat bike.
